In the video game Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Wildlands you are able to outfit your character with real tactical gear that is used by professionals worldwide. In this article we take a look at just a couple of the items found in the game.
The RUSH series of packs was developed with SGM(ret.) Kyle Lamb who served his country in Special Operations units and now heads a training, gear and consulting outfit known as Viking Tactics. The RUSH bags can carry all your mission critical gear and features MOLLE panels on the outside of the pack so you can add additional pouches or equipment. The pack comes in three sizes, the 12, 24 and 72. The numbers denote the amount of space in the pack based on time out in the field.
The APEX pant was developed with an “agency” that wanted the tactical functionality you’ve come to expect from 5.11 pants but in a low profile look. The APEX pant features hidden pockets for E&E kits (Escape and Evade) as well as storage for flex cuffs and additional storage for mags and other mission critical gear. The pant is also highly durable and features enough stretch to allow you the freedom of movement.
We worked with Special Operation soldiers as well as members of law enforcement tactical units to develop the Tac Tec plate carrier. Laser cut molle, a super strong GrabDrag strap and a unique quick release system make this plate carrier highly adaptable and ready for anything.
Wicking fabrics and a strategically placed sleeve pocket allow you to focus on the job at hand. When paired with the 5.11 Tac Tec plate carrier you’ve got yourself a kit ready to take on the day.
