Women are the fastest growing group in shooting sports. We’ve seen a continued surge of women’s participation in shooting sports, hunting, public safety and an overall global desire for tactical preparedness. The National Sporting Goods Association says that more than five million women actively participated in target shooting in the U.S. during 2011. That’s a 51 percent increase between 2001 and 2011. We’ve also seen up to a 60 percent spike in women’s participation in hunting in countries around the globe.
The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) found that more than 50 percent of women in the U.S. said they intend to purchase at least one firearm in the next 12 months. And in some countries like the U.K., women now make up more than 25 percent of today’s police force.
With steady growth of women’s participation in tactical fields, whether professionally or recreationally, we’ll continue to support their efforts with our women’s tactical apparel and gear—designed by women, for women.
